Our focus is to empower every child to embrace their creative side. Our goal is for our students to discover themselves through self-expression, growth, and exploring their passions. We teach engaging, hands-on lessons that allow students to embrace their curiosity and independence.

We at Kabloom have a passion for children and each day we appreciate their shear excitement and joy for learning. Kabloom programs are a palette by which students explore, learn, and create. In our programs, students find the arts, athletics, and learning to be an adventure that they cannot wait to experience over and over again. Our goal is for students to discover their strengths and overcome obstacles in order to build true self-esteem. We invite you and your student to join us for this amazing journey!

Casey sarano - Digital media specialist

After growing up in Celebration and attending Celebration K–8 as a student, Casey returned to the community he proudly calls home as a middle school teacher. He enjoys giving back to the place that helped shape him and is proud to be part of the Kabloom team. After more than six years as a Team Leader, “Mr. Sarano” now serves as Kabloom's technology specialist, managing and updating the company's website while helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

After graduating from Celebration High School in 2026, Michael is continuing to pursue his passion for creativity as an aspiring film student at Full Sail University. Having been part of the Kabloom team for more than five years, he enjoys creating fun, engaging experiences for students each day. Known for dressing up in costumes and bringing the high energy, Michael is committed to giving his best and making every day memorable for the kids he works with.

Colleen Schmidt - instructor

Colleen is a local Artist and Elementary Art Teacher in the Osceola County School District. She has a BA in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree in Art Education from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH. She has been teaching art for over 30 years, first in New Hampshire public schools and in Florida public schools since 2008. She currently teaches elementary art at Island Village Elementary in Celebration. Mrs. Schmidt has been an Osceola County arts education leader; she was recognized as Osceola County Elementary School art teacher of the year in 2022 and Recognized as the Florida Elementary Art Educator of the year in 2023 by the Florida Art Education Association. She provides students with unique and creative arts projects in a variety of art media. Her classroom is a place for students to learn and explore and have fun.

GABRIELLE CASCIO - INSTRUCTOR

Gabriella Cascio is an actress and drama teacher. She has a BA in film studies and acting from Pace University as well as her MA from NYU in educational theatre. She has taught grades K- 12 and is certified in both NY and FL. Currently, she’s teaching at CK8 and directing the middle school musicals. As a recent Osceola County Rookie Arts Teacher of the Year, Gabriella enjoys inspiring students to express themselves through drama.

MADDIE ROSAS - instructor

Having grown up with Kabloom as a camper, Maddie Rosas is excited to give back to the program that played such an important role in her childhood. Now a senior at Osceola School of the Arts, she has been a Kabloom Team Leader for the past four years, where she enjoys creating fun and meaningful experiences for students each day. With a passion for acting, singing, and dancing, Maddie loves sharing her creativity and enthusiasm with Kabloom Kids and is proud to be part of the after-school program.

MELISSA BERRADA - ADMIN ASSISTANT

Melissa is our Kabloom Administrative Director. We are thrilled to have her help grow our Kabloom family. Melissa is a former teacher and is able to continue her passion for students through her work at Kabloom. She currently is the School Manager for Creation Village World School.
